    Full Experience visit to Salumificio Aurora

    The Full Experience visit to Salumificio Aurora starts at 9 am at Caseificio San Pier Damiani with a visit to the Cheese Factory, where you will witness all the stages of Parmigiano Reggiano production, from heating the vats to salting and aging.

    The visit concludes with a tasting of different ages of Parmigiano Reggiano. It will also be possible to purchase products in our shop.

    After the visit, the tour continues at Salumificio Aurora, located in Felino just a few kilometers from Parma and at the foot of the Parma hills, opening its doors to all those who wish to learn the secrets of the production process of the traditional Parma Salumi.

    Through a guided tour, you will visit the production premises starting from the departments where fresh meats are salted until you reach the heart of the company: the cellars, where, crossing aging galleries, you will be enveloped in a whirlwind of aromas.

    At the end of the visit, you will find a small tasting of our carefully selected products.

    Tours are conducted in Italian and English.

    Visitors are responsible for their own transportation to Salumifico Aurora.

    The 11 am Experience differs from the Full Experience because it DOES NOT INCLUDE the initial stages of production, in particular the extraction of the wheel.

    Visit to the dairy with Cooking Class

    The visits with cooking class take place on Wednesday and Saturday.
    You must receive a booking confirmation to participate.

    The tour starts at 8:30 in the dairy with the visit to the dairy where you will witness all the stages of the production of Parmigiano Reggiano, at at the end of the visit, around 10:30 there will be a tasting and the opportunity to purchase our products at a discounted price .

    From 11:00 to 14:00 we move to Cristina where the cooking class will be held (max 6-8 people). With our trusted chef they will prepare and taste typical dishes of the Parmesan cuisine and prepared with our Parmigiano Reggiano (the menu consists of an appetizer, first course, dessert, wine, coffee and water).
